Its shocking what is happening to animals. Is it because of credit crunch that some saying can't afford food, or is it people want an animal but then can't be bothered with them when not cute any more.
Something has to be done in the courts to stop this. Make an example of someone.
Makes me so angry when you see these pictures. They poor animals put their trust in someone and paid with their lives.

The guy at work, wouldnt give me his Sun to read after him today, he knew I couldnt look at it Sad

But I am glad it is brought to the front but some people wont care anyway, someone was talking about a cat that keeps putting their outside light on at night on its hunts and someone else said shoot it, get an air gun and shoot it Evil or Very Mad
apart from the cruelty aspect of a miss fired shot wounding and long suffering an animal, thats whats put decent air gunners in a bad light Evil or Very Mad

100% with Gordon and Janis too - I'm glad the images are there for all to see to get the message across. Me? OK I can't look - I can't view any more traumatic images just now, seen too much when doing my own research.
I'll NEVER turn my back on animal cruelty - I'll ALWAYS fight the animals corner for them I am active on so many causes on Facebook and am constantly sending invites to people to join causes to raise the profile of them and I'll never stop doing that. I've also signed numerous anti cruelty petitions and distributed them widely

My long term plans, as you know, will mean working directly and hands on with the victims of cruelty and abuse so I know what I'm heading for and I'll deal with it because once I'm fully involved I will KNOW I will do all I possibly can to ensure a positive outcome for what matters - the animal - NOT the scumbag who has harmed it. Anything I can do to bring the person(s) responsible to justice, whatever that may be will be done. Evil or Very Mad

i am with you jack. I just sit in tears when i see all these things. I personally want to hang these people. I have also signed all forms regarding animal cruelty. However, i cant stop thinking there is something else i should be doing to contribute. It would be great as a forum if we could do something. Even something like a charity day or something, a dog fun day or weekend away and all proceedings go to the SPCA. What do you all think?

I would organize with help hopefully or are open to ideas.

I like your thinking Amanda, a charity day might be fun plus if it raises money for the animals its a win win situation.

i was on the suns web-site again today and there are more very disturbing images, it shows a picture of a dog that was burned during a drugs related argument, i would still like to think that what goes around comes around, i just hope that the people how do these truly tragic thing get what is coming to them.

With you 100% too Alan - I could very easily inflict severe pain and torture on the scumbags myself. I despise bullies - and that's what these "people" are. Pure scum of the earth and lower than snakes pee Evil or Very Mad They should be beneath my contempt but if I had my way they'd be beneath a huge mound of earth never willing or able to inflict such cruelty EVER again!!!

While you are all feeling sorry for abused animals - please help this one.

We have a 3year old brindle Great Dane, Sir Lancelot, in the Scottish Great Dane Rescue at the moment if anyone knows someone who could help this big friendly boy please PM me. You can see him on the SGDR site.
