We had to get an emergency vet appointment for Alfie on Friday. He has been very sick and passing blood. The vet gave him an injection and course of medication as his tummy was very tender to touch. Today he has just slept and even trying to take him out we are having to carry him outside and back in again. The vet wants to see him tomorrow if there was no improvement. He said they will take x-rays and urine sample to determine what is wrong with him.

Hi thanks for all the kind wishes. He's very lethargic we have to starve him again tonight and start a bland chicken and rice diet tomorrow. The tests from Friday are showing its a viral infection, however the vet wants to bring a scanning machine in to scan the main organs to ensure that there is nothing underlying. I'll keep you posted of the results.
