Should dogs eat fruit? I'm working on the principle that it's probably not harmful in big quantities. I had a mango in the fruit bowl and Otto was sitting staring at it so I cut it up and gave him a wee bit.

He also likes apple and strawberries, though I don't give him very much as he's still young. He practically jumped on the table for a passion fruit, but it was the smell more than the taste.

He managed to nick a banana and I didn't notice until I saw him trying to get the skin off. He didn't really like it that much. Was funny though.

Dale once found a strawberry on the floor - ate it - and now appreciates the times we have them!

sure he's not .............. spoiled?.......... Star? ............ nah!!!!!!! Laughing

neither of ours eat fruit. They just look at it, throw it around then leave it. Murphy used to love chomping on raw carrots but they don't eat that anymore either Confused A bit like John, they don't like eating their veg unless it's well chopped and disguised Wink

Fruit is good, I dont feed it myself. I dont feed any veg or fruit just the meat but I know others that swear by greens and fruit.

I have a bitch here who gets yeast infections so fruit can aggravate that, other than that there's no reason why they cant. Just remember NO GRAPES.
