Dog Warden 01698 403110. If he is old they are likely to put him down as un-rehomable. The vet will scan him and see if he is chipped.

good news people little sandy found his daddy lol........the police phoned me to say a wee old man had came forward, so took the dog up to the the police station and she was over the moon to see her daddy........... really felt for the old man, he'd been out looking all night.............the dog had got out the back door without him seeing

not sure how to put this but he didnt look as if he had alot of money and was a bit slow when i was trying to tell him the story about me finding the dog, felt the police officer in the station was looking down on him and being quite cheeky to him........he stayed not far from me so gave him and sandy a lift home........they both just looked so happy to have found each other Very Happy

at one point i thought i was gona have to leave the dog coz i felt we were making it more frightend and it was running on the road more, eventualy scott just rugby tackled her.........was quite funny she was biting his hand and trying to attack him and im in the background shouting "just dont let it go" the poor we thing was just so scared
scotts fine though, it didnt break the skin.

its nice to have a happy ending for a change Very Happy

Glad they got reunited Smile

I did that once with a dog, we had to stop on stepps bypas, 2 jack russell crosses, one was dead on the road and the other was at the side of the road and at one point me and Allan had it cornered and I said, well im just going to grab and I did and waited on the the bite, thankfully the wee soul was so traumatised it didnt bite

Yes, so nice for a happy ending for a change.

A couple of months ago some of the kids in my street brought a wee stray to our door (thinking it might be ours).

The wee thing was terrified, covered in fleas, had a 'Rangers' collar and a big black cable-tie round its neck. God only knows where it had come from.

The kids weren't allowed to keep it and ended up taking it to Wishaw police station.

We were quite upset that we couldn't take it but we'd only just got Mylo and can't save every dog although we'd like to:(
