My mums ridgeback Daka has had to come and live with us.

My mum is in process of adopting 2 of the children she fosters and the social work are really getting picky and are now taking on new fosterers without dogs Evil or Very Mad what kind of home is a home without dogs Rolling Eyes but although my mum has adopted 3 and fosters 2 and also in process of adopting 2 and already had the dogs they allowed Rhanna to stay but Daka had to go

Anyway social work do not want Daka in the house, so my mum had to get her rehomed, which luckily we were in a position to take her so she is now living with us

Wow! I can't believe they're forcing your mum to lose a dog. Well, I can believe it to be honest. Sam's a Social Worker for South Lan. and 95% of the workers/bosses are either retarded or jumped up little Hitlers who have absolutely no sense or any knowledge of legislation.

Your mum sounds like an amazing person!

Thats a shame your Mum had to give up Daka, I agree, Whats a home without a dog? At least you and Allan are in the position to be able to take her...your pack expands again! Laughing

I just cannot believe this Shirley
has the world gone mad ???
I often think to myself, no matter what their dad and me have done to them...along the lines of "they f**k you up up...your parents" at least they have grown up in a home with the love of 2 dogs. I know it sounds ridiculous but the first thing the girls do in the morning is go say hello to the dogs who are always so glad to see them. 1 of the best things about their childhood will def be having had the dogs. what child doesn't want to own a dog ?
Is it not crazy when children in homes are subjectd to all sorts of abuse and your mum has proven to be a wonderful "parent"

No wonder so many kids are in care if they make it so hard to have them.

There is no such thing as a perfect home environment - and having a dog teaches kids more about life and love than any social work guidebook!

Sorry to hear this Shirley...She is such a loving big dog too and kids will be broken hearted. At least they can come and visit her at her big sis.
