Poor Ria
Got stung in the lip by a Wasp/Bee. Her lip had all swollen up and all she could do was whimper. The Vet managed to remove the sting and give her some anti inflammatories, poor thing, not herself at all.

All she normally does is try to eat what she shouldn't. Hope she learns from this? Any other suggestions? Sad

The swelling will go down soon as Kendal says. Dogs are just curious and will stick their faces into things that sting or in Poppy's case bring them out in blisters.. Ah the joys of owning a dog.

the same happened to Luna as a pup except she cried for a bit then passed out so we think she is highly alergic to them but did she learn.... er no Smile she still snaps at every wasp/bee/fly/feather that goes by her Smile

Koda the other day stood on one, didn't realise it at the time, he just wouldn't walk, had to carry him home(what a site i was:) lol but when home we seen it was a sting, got it out, was all fine except he kept licking it until it went raw so he started limping..( this was sat) so we washed it out put some antiseptic cream on it with a sock on his foot, and it thankfully it seemed to do the job Smile still tender but no limp, and no knawing at his foot.

Dogs will be dogs Smile lol like to keep us on our toes

Well at last Ria seems more herself. I felt so sorry for her today, so uninterested in everything. My daughter was more traumatised than anyone, listening to the whimpering just brought out a wee maternal side I think. Ria lapped up all the TLC.

All is well now though!
