Due to new access legislation "Land Reform (Scotland) Act 2003" we can take the dogs to the beach now at any time of the year so we can go whenever. I will bring a copy of the Access Code along to tuesday for the files as it is pertinante to us. It basically states that we can walk the dogs anywhere as long as we take a few things into consideration like, not walking through fields of soft fruits, cattle, sheep, people gardens. the good thing is it clearly states our rights to be able to roam Scotland with our Dogs!!! |

That's great! I think we might have to take copy with us as Troon still has signs up sayin no dogs throughout May till September!
How is the 8th September suit everyone? And can everyone let me know what beach you would prefer?
I would like St Andrews coz I haven't been and its supposed to be really nice.

I'm in Dublin from 7th till 10th Sept but if that suits most I'll just have to miss it and go next time!!!!

 Sounds like a good idea! They'll have brilliant fun! we haven't been to a beach with Jake yet. Unfortunately we'll probably be away that weekend as it's Bank Hol Mon on 10th. Might head down to England to see new niece who was born on Thursday. Next time..... |
