After the big twit rolled in something nasty in the woods today I had no option but to bath Hektor.
He hasnt been bathed before as he is lanky enough and short-haired enough that a quick rub down with a towel usually does it. Anyway i cant even get him to set foot in the bathroom, never mind get him in the bath!
I ended up doing it in the garden like you would a car...bucket, sponge and hose...after an initial struggle and battle of wills he submitted to a lather up and hose down!
Result! One clean and lovely smelling Great Dane! He did come in and rub himself all over the rug but I suppose I can forgive that. Eau de wet dog...

You are a brave soul, Lisa.
I take my Danes to Trish and she does them in the hydrobath. So much easier. _________________ Regards,

Great Danes are not substitute children. They are much more important than that! |
