This might be a bit of a stupid one to ask but what the hell.

Is there any benefits or worries about dogs eating veg, Fred managed to snaffle a carrot and the first Dawn knew of this was when she saw the very small remains lying on his mat.

Fred the King of Mooching food!!

Cheers. Question

Most dog food is bulked out with vegetable matter of some sort. No harm whatsoever:)

Don't feed him onion though! Apparently it's very bad for dogs digestive systems, as is chocolate.

Vegies are fine , although as Steve says onions are not good.......a carrot is a much better treat than gray bones or the like.

Cheers folks, just didn't want to find the contents of Fred's stomach all over his crate.

I suppose that's the beauty of a cross breed, they can and do eat anything going.
