I faithfully went every week with my boxer dog, we both managed to improve our skills, well OK the dog learned and I tried my best to keep up! The atmosphere was great as were the tutors.

It was with a heavy heart that I returned to see what the old place looked like.

Like the dogs that were trained there, the club blossomed and grew for many many years there until it finally took root in it's present location.

From one of the "Old Timers" I salute you all, keep up the good work !!!

Kendal they are building new flats, but i think 4 in a block style. the building has no gas in it, and is a concrete bloc, it was a relic, Smile lol better to tear it down and start again. but the shop is still going to be there and that was the cause of all the bother, never mind Smile Its shame as they really were nice big flats inside. We actually still own it but as you can see all boarded up so cant get to it lol

I hope the shop doesn't survive, it was the congregation point for all the undesirables. I am sure the new flats will look good, however do we really need a tonic wine shop next to them!

I agree. The amount of neds hanging about there was unbelievable. I used to hate walking by there and was confronted a fair few times before going into class. Benjay wouldnt take that though lol. Theres no need for a shop there, the town centre is literally a 5 min walk from there.

oh the shop wont go, it was part of the deal to demolish it, infact it was them holding us up for a while. The plans were meant to look really good for the flats built in place of the existing hell hole Smile lol
