that looks like a dystera .. a very rare spider here in the uk ... hope you didnt catch by hand its one of only three venomous spiders found here ...its a cracker ... such a beauty Smile

John put that glass over it first of all, then slid a piece of cardboard under it carried it outside and let it go.

I haven't seen a spider in the house since I got Dora(touch wood) think she eats them when she sees them....yeh ha cause I hate them and sorry I hoover them up and let the hoover spin until I see thet the big b*&@$r is well and truly dead. Cause i can't sleep otherwise as i think they will come back and get me as it's the big giant ones I get in the house

found one very like this one on sunday morning making his merry way across my bedroom wall! being the big brave independent woman i am i woke jim to tell him! . . . . . . picture it! jim with the sun newspaper open at the middle pages to catch it while i am balancing on the bed with a can of hairspray to immobilize it! nearly used a full can before he stiffened and gave up! so much for a long lie on a sunday morning! 4.50am prancing around naked with hairspray, newspaper and disposing of an unwanted visitor! i hate the creepies! Allan I wish you hadn't told me about poisonous spiders I thought they were supposed to harmless. People have been LYING to me all my life Shocked

'As in don't be silly it won't hurt you' Are there any poisonous Daddy long legs? Dale is determined to save me from them.
