Hi folks,

Poor Glen is laid up with this bug. The vet says it is doing the doggy rounds just to starve him for 24 hours then reintroduce bland food slowly over the next 48. However, the wee soul is miserable and neither of us is happy re missing the club. I hope it has missed the Cumbernauld area.

We'll have to miss next week too as I am on night shift. Never mind, will put in requests way ahead for Thursdays as days off or early shifts, cross your fingers.

Could be worse I suppose, at least Bimbo (cat ) isn't affected, OMG a skittery cat plus a skittery dog, more than the nostrils could bear, just as well I'm a nurse with a rotten sense of smell huh?

Regards,
Moira

Thanks Janice, I didn't realise that I could swap about classes to fit around work, that is sooo good and will lessen the times I have to miss the club, brilliant.

Glen is much better today and enjoyed a scrambled egg breakfast and chicken with brown rice dinner. No poop yet so I guess he's back to normal. I whinge at times re his abundant energy, but I hated him being so quiet and clingy, he got to sleep in my room last night so he could waken me for toilet calls, I couldn't have left him to get his crate in the mess it was in yesterday morning. The poor boy was utterly dejected and disgusted, crammed in a corner as far away from his accidents as he could get. anyway, the bad news is, he's back to his own bed tonight, lol.

Glen too John, apart from the heat he's back on form. I'm going to keep him on chicken and rice for today too though and back to normal tomorrow.
