Hey

Since I have time off in July I’m looking to go to one of the doggy days with the family, knew about the Dogs Trust Fun Day but also found Bark in the Park does anyone know of any other ones close to home?

Has anyone been to them and which would you recommend to go to since they’re both on the same day, Dogs Trust is closer by but I was thinking if going to the Fife one can always take the girls down to one of the beaches so Muffin can have her run around safely and make a full day of it. Also is anyone else interested in going since its during the club shut down period?

Bark in the Park 2010
Sunday 25th July
10.30am to 3.30pm
Fife

• Kingdom fm roadshow 11am-3pm
• Top Lodge Trio (dancing dogs)
• Fun Dog Show (with a special class for Second Chance Dogs)
• Bernese Mountain Dog display
• Huskies
• Quack Commandos
• Agility
• Royal Marine climbing frame
• Dialadog wash/Therapets/Pet Portraits/Dog Behaviourist
• Fire Brigade
• Tombola/Home baking/balloon race

Dogs Trust Fun Day and Fun Dog Show
Sunday 25th July
12noon to 3.30pm
Strathclyde Park

Entrance free

• Doggy Dash & Have a go Agility
• Facepainting
• Fundraising stalls and merchandise
• Much more (not detailed)

Thanks

Laura

I think if there are a few people interested from the club as a group would be easier to organize all going to Dogs Trust then going off and doing our own thing as we like.

I just couldn't tell if there was a lot to do at Dogs Trust (cause Ive never been) as they haven't really detailed much whereas Bark in the Park has.

This is my first post here, we`ll definately be going to Bark in the Park at Lochore Meadows, we`ll be supporting Second Chance Kennels because we got our dog Oscar from there. Also we`ll be taking our new dog as well, a Merle Great Dane who is 2yrs old, they are both Rescue dogs.

hi cath, welcome to the forum was it yourself who popped by the class the other day there and you showed us a picture of your dogs. Remember from the picture a dane with very lovely distinctive merle colouring. Didnt have a chance to ask if the other dog in the picture was also your own. I also own a rescued dog who hasnt had the best past but have never tracked down the organisation who helped her. None seem to have records of dogs they helped 12 years ago lol, hope to hear more about yourself and your dogs in the intro section Smile
