He bolted off down the glen with my dad, lead attached. Dad ran almost 4 times round the glen before finally coming across a nice man who found him just sitting by the bridge, stupid dog!!!! No more walks today!!!

aww your poor dad. glad he was found ok.

Gypsy used to run home from the rugby pitch. its not a nice feeling.

I know!!! He'd bn round glen 2 or 3 times b4 he finally calle me at work. Think he was panicking!! Only gd thing is everyone recognises him so was hoping someone had him and he wasn't caught in a tree by his lead or anything!!! Guy found him just sitting on his own....poor little thing. Think dad was gonna kill him ha ha! At least he's safe now. I was on my way home from work to look for him. Thankfuly boss was in nice mood and was going to let me away to find him!!

I know, something spooked him, I think the rain starting and he just went....he may only have 3 workin legs but he can be fast!!!

Glad you got him back safe! What a horrible feeling...Hektor used to do this to me sometimes, He'd tear off after the deer or something and you'd never know whether to stay where you were so he can find you again or go off in hot pursuit. I've been close to tears a few times with panic imagining all sorts of disasters!

Your poor dad, must have been awful, and probably alfie not bothering his bum. Glad you got him back safe and sound.

So glad you got him back. Your poor dad. Yoda has been recently escaping from our garden the feeling is terrible. My neighbors think i am mad walking around the streets with tears running down my face. Yoda has a great time playing not a care in the world.

The poor guy who found him was worrying cos he thought he'd broken his leg!!! He he poor alf! Think my dad was shattered. He said he did 4 laps of the glen including the field in about 2 hrs!!! When the man found alfie he was just sitting relaxing, bet he'd hardly moved. Just bn sniffing the grass as always having a ball! Stupid dog. He's back to normal, let him off tonight and he was fine!
