Murphy had been biting and licking at his front paw last night and this morning. It sounded like he was biting his nails Confused Anyway, after several 'NO's' I called him over to have a look. His paw was soaking wet and bleeding!!!! One of the pads is completely raw.
So I sprayed it with Dettol wound spray and I have put a sock over his paw to stop him chewing it any more. But he's not impressed............... he's got a fuschia pink sock on!!! Laughing Well, Johns are all too big so the next best thing I could find was one of Emily's!!!!!
Goodness knows what he's done. I don't know if he has grazed it and made it worse or if he has simply chewed it sore. Confused
He's lying at my feet with the most pathetic face he can manage. But at least he's now leaving it alone.

Laughing I know I've got strapping around it to hold it on!!!!
I think that's what he's done, he's skidded and grazed it and as it's been healing it probably got itchy so he had a nibble. Confused

well, The Murphmeister has not even attempted to remove the sock. But the wee sad face remains Laughing He's looking gorgeous with one pink leg!!!!!!
It can't be itching him or I'm sure he'd be trying to get to it. I think he realises he shouldn't have been at it because when I look at him his ears go back and his lifts his leg up in the air!

Poor Murphy He's probably wondering why the Dog's Trust haven't rescued him Shocked PINK socks.
And you should see what they've got in Pets at Home. He could have a matching dress. Shocked Shocked

Hope he recovers soon.

what can I say.............. he saw the photo and the shame was too much! Embarassed Laughing

I just took it off there and it's still looking very raw, he immediately thought about licking it so I covered with a new manly black sock this time!!!! Very Happy
Looks like my boys are missing the puppy walk tonight Sad Don't want to all go out and leave just Murphy, so Diesel will stay home too. Sad
Hope it's better tomorrow.
