Ha ha. No kisses from Tia then!!!

I'm lucky in a way that that's probably the only thing Alfie doesn't try to pick up....used tissues, pine cones, half eaten sweeties, bird poo, grass, lollipop sticks, horse poo.....the list goes on. Thankfully none of it gets swallowed, he always spits it back out. I swear my neighbours will think he's called 'leave' cos it's all I shout at him round walks.

It is annoying tho although where I am there is a lack of bins around, I find myself carrying it around for a while !!!

A further mystery: when there are many bins provided in the area, why would any dog walker pick up and then deposit poo (encased in poly bags) beside paths, in the grass and even more bizarrely ~ hung in tree branches?
Drumpellier Country Park in Coatbridge is just one of the places I've come across this form of local art (?) work
Is this perhaps a form of revenge against those who leave broken buckie bottles for unsuspecting canines? Confused

I phoned the council and asked for a poo bin to be put on the large green in front of our house as people bring their dogs to exercise as there are no roads about, and to my surprise 2 weeks later a bin arrived but it was placed in the middle of the green which gets quite muddy when it rains, another quick call to the council and the bin was moved 3 days later to the edge of the path. Thank you Motherwell council. How often do you get such prompt action.

this really annoys me too!

I work for Glasgow Community and Safety Services which is a arm of the council in Glasgow. We have a team of enforcement officer's who fine dog walker's for not picking up after their dogs . This is done under the dog fouling Scotland act 2003.

I would imagine North Lan and South Lan have the same. Get on to them hit them where it hurts....their pocket!

I think we need to make it as socially unacceptable as drink driving and smoking indoors....how did we do that?
