Hi Folks
Anyone know of any other good walks in cumbernauld or the surrounding areas?
Huey is now getting off the lead and loving it. Needs to be places away from roads and other dangers as he's runs about like a mad man just now. he's coming back all the time which is really good. unfortunately this means he can eat things lying about which resulted in another case of Delhi belly for poor Shuggy.
he has doggy date with a lady springer this weekend and needs some inspiration for his walk I'm having trouble trying to think of any.

I love the glen and cumby fields. Feel really safe letting my dogs of, plus have never had a complaint about having my dogs off up there which I do get down at Broadwood Loch. Another good walk is craigmarloch walk. The new path they built from Eastfield to Carrickstone alongside Craigmarloch?
Yeah the glens my usual route cos it's 2secs walk from my house. It's fairly safe as no roads around. Alfie unfortunately likes to chase cyclists tho!! Its nice down by the canal (so long as he can be trusted not to jump in )
Lisa/Colin I don't have a life ...I'm always here!

I like Croy though havent walked it for a while and I usually walk the quiet part of the Glen a couple of times a week with the big black twit.
There is also a good walk at the Kilt Farm at the top end of Abronhill across from Maple Road. You go away up the hill through the woods and that brings you out behind the Farm on the Arns Road, its all fenced so the dogs cant get on the road. Only thing is there might be Cattle or horses in the field at the top but thats only a small part of the walk. If you are feeling energetic there is another walk across the Arns road that I think loops round through the forest and back down onto the Slamannan Road but I havent walked that one before.

Thanks for the tips!
We went up to cumbernauld fields. We just did a big loop round the edges. Huey had a ball chasing olive all over the place. He's now giving it big zzzzzzzz's at my feet.
