Hi Folks,

Looking for a bit of advice, Fred has become rather clingy of late to me to the point whee if Dawn comes close to me Fred will try to get in between us and has even been known to growl/bare teeth at Dawn & Scott also. Then right out of the blue today while i was in the same room as Dawn but no where near Fred bit Dawn's hand, nothing too serious but worrying all the same.

I was thinking what I need to do is to ignore Fred a little more than I do and also for Dawn to do the training classes instead of me.

Any suggestions, ideas?

Thanks. Question

Sounds like a pack order issue............he is protecting you from them......you are right, ignore him more and get everyone involved in pack order........this is a big thing for working breeds and it is really easy to relax when things are going well and before you know it something like this crops up.
