back from the vets, she said that Inca seemed fine but that we should keep an eye on her leg and restrict her exersize for a bit, also if her limp comes back we are to bring her in for an x ray.
so we are happy but i don't think she will be if we go down the glen without her.

Doogle got stung on his bum bootyshake and also on his eye, didn't notice till I was walking round again with suzanne and his eye started swelling up and going red, the stinger and the poison sack were still in, once I'd removed it the swelling went down quite quickly. Nothing to what poor Inca went through!!! Poor wee girl!!!

I didn't realise so many people and dogs were stung! Was it definitely wasps or wild bees? Do you think the Wildlife Trust would smoke them out? You can get up to 10,000 wasps in a nest. Luckily no kids got stung.

It was a wasps nest Ros. The same thing happened to one of ours a few years ago. She sniffed a hole in the ground and her head was immediately covered in 100's of wasps. Nasty.

It's horrible! My dad always smokes them out if he finds any in the hedges on the land. He's a bee-keeper too!
By the way I hope you have enough liver cake to go round tomorrow night!!
As healthy and as appetising that they seem I'm not a good cook so I bought a doggy sausage from Lidl! Jake loves it!!
