well Delta is off to the vets this morning.....the little madam has managed to take out two stitches on her right paw where her dew claw was removed. kendal has kept it clean and dressed it over the weekend but this morning we feel it needs to be seen by the vet. what i thought was the bone isn't and is is a little bubble like but not a good colour......so appointment this morning at 9.20am

needless to say she is neither up not down about it and lets kendal dress and undress it without any problem. wil post more when we know what's happening. it might have to be re-stitched and kendal feels that if the area could be localised with an anesthetic she could keep her in one place for the stitches to be put in......just need to wait and see.

well kendal came back from the vet 'dugless'....... they have kept her in and will put her under for a few minutes to re-stitch. we should hear from them around 1pm and collect her later.....so this time like it or not she is to be crated for complete bed rest.

well it's just after 2pm and kendal is off to collect her...and yes lesley she has been the one that has kept us on our toes!

expect her to be a little whiney and out of sorts but she will be crated and for her own good!

It made me laugh that as I'm reading this Alfie, despite his size, is curled up on my knee like a cat snoring away. I'm hopeless, god help me when I have kids!! I started out well, now I have the worlds most spoiled dog.....oops. He is still well behaved tho so I let him off, despite knowing better than this. Ha ha.

Is delta back to being bandaged up then janis?? Glad she's back to her normal self after everything!!
