I'd thought i'd thank the forum for having the info on here on how to remove a tick successfuly.
After much flailing about, screaming and general crying with the heebie Jeebies i managed to................................ take Huey to my friends house to have it removed!!!
I may have to toughen up a little. I did watch the video Kendal posted a few times but that was as far i a got. however i can confirm that's how my friend removed it
i love the winter when it comes to owning a big hairy dog, snow's much easier...no beasties!

Not in the slightest you know Huey only thing that bothers him is not getting to sit on your knee!
It was at the top of one of his legs/shoulder i only found it because he was getting a cuddle. Must have been there a day or two judging by the size of it.
He gets frontline but it was pretty much time for a new dose so that's a lesson learnt for me.
