Seriously then ................. as John already said, mentioning your participation in dog training classes, arranging group walks with other members and wearing beaver pants whilst out in the cold weather will make you appear keen and sensible.

It is also worth mentioning that you keep fit and your half marathon is another impressive pastime! It shows dedication too.

Thanks guys have included all of that apart from the beaver pants, I have actually my snr manager (he's above my line manager) about the beaver pants!!!!! Laughing Laughing I have no shame he did fine it pretty funny, hope if I get an interview he won't be expecting me to wear them!!!!!

Anyway I've finished it at last, so can hand it in tomorrow, so fingers crossed Confused

Thats it finsihed, checked over by some colleagues and handed in, won't hear for a couple of weeks then it will be another week or so before the interviews so it will be while away before i know if I get it

Lindy, my ex was a countryside ranger at Palacerigg for years so I have gotten to know quite a few managers etc. I spoke to one and he has said if you write down things such as good team member/leader. Adaptable etc etc

Thanks everyone for your tips and ideas I have used them all in one way or another, I will just have to sit back and wait now what ever happens it's good experience to write applications and go through interviews helps you improve for the next one. i'll keep you all posted
