Hello!

Think we'll be missing class this week again as poor Dexter has hurt his leg and is currently wearing a "cone of shame"! Poor baby.

Vet thinks he's either caught his leg on something or had a bite/claw from the cats and, although it would've been small to start with last week, between him licking it and getting an infection in it he now has a hole on his thigh the size of a 50p. We discovered it on Thursday last week and the vet has got him on antibiotics, cream and the cone of shame! He hates it!!! We went back tonight and she's quite confident it'll heal itself whereas at first she was worried he'd maybe need stitches so at least that's a positive!

Think healing thoughts!!!

Cat

Yeah he's an unhappy puppy! I'm an unhappy mummy too as so far hes taken several chunks out the wall and also a chunk out the tv unit with the cone!!

I've been cooking him chicken breasts for dinner to make him feel better! Keep in mind here I'm a vegetarian and won't touch raw chicken for David but nothings too much for my puppy dog!!!

It is definitely getting better I think. Hope it continues to heal quickly! We've to go back to the vet on Wednesday again. Thats 5 times already this month between Marie's boosters, Sooty's sore eye, Dexter's kennel cough and now his sore leg!! I'm SICK of the place!!! I think my vets should do a loyalty card or something, maybe tesco points?!
