It's usually about 3 weeks. She's at her most fertile usually towards the end. When she comes near to the end of her season, try massaging the bottom of her back. If she lifts her tail up and slightly to the side at all, she's still in season and what's more, eager to mate. The blood will probably have stopped by then though. Just be careful if out walking. I had a dog aggressive Rottie barking at my front door and also scratching at the door. He also managed to open my gate at the back and get in the garden; I now wedge it shut too. _________________ What youneed for the ultimate stressbuster---

Wow Sharon!! My poor baby!! I'll be manning the baracades so these "beasts" don't get to my poor wee girl!! I ll be getting her dressed soon. She was only just getting the freedom of being off lead but that's gone out the window now . Poor breagha !!
