Sounds like Lexi has hotspots or moist eczema as its sometimes called. It's quite common this time of year in GSDs. Tubbs got one a week ago and within 24 hours of me noticing it, had increased to 3 hotspots. We were in Portsmouth and took her to a vet down there. She got the area shaved, a steroid injection and a 10 day course of antibiotics. I was given an antibacterial wash to bathe the hotspots 4 times a day. They are getting better slowly.
It's something which can spread very quickly so a trip to the vet might be best. It's also a condition which is very painful to the dog.
Hope Lexi gets better soon. _________________ What youneed for the ultimate stressbuster---

It's very localised and swollen looks like a bite or something
Can u use savlon on dogs!!!
Doesn't seem to have spread. Think a trip to the vets is in order
Thanks _________________ Shazzabing x
