A friend at works daughter is looking to rehome an 11 month old white gsd. Dog has lovely nature but she s finding it too much work with 2 year old daughter as well. Do u know of anyone who'd be able to offer a good home?

Oohh, I'm sorely tempted. I've always fancied having a white shepherd but I've just moved my mum in with us, although I don't know how long for is a big question there!
Please ask her not to advertise the dog anywhere as GSDs are quite frequently used as bait dogs by dog fighting groups, and these people are really good at conning people into believing otherwise.
Is it a dog or a bitch?
I'll ask around.
Our rescue could help if she wanted to fill out a rehoming form on our website. The web address is http://www.german-shepherd-rescue-scotland.org.uk
Where possible we rehome from the dogs old home straight to its new home to minimise stress to the dog. The dog would normally stay in its old home until a suitable new home was found, although we do take dogs into foster care in urgent circumstances. We try to match dog to new family as best we can. I have worked with the rescue for a few years now and can only sing their praises. We are very strict on who we rehome to. We do a telephone screen before we send someone out to homecheck. Even then, I have only passed 50% of the home checks I have done. The dog always comes first.
If you want any more info, or your friend does, please don't hesitate to call me. My mobile number is 07598232834.

Thanks. It is a girl called coco. She is seemingly a lovely dog but owners can't give her the time and exercise she needs.
