Sorry breagha missed class today. When I got up this mornin angus was not well constantly coughing and choking. I thought his throat was closing up. Luckily a neighbor across from us works at vet school training vets. He had a look at him for me and says its caused by pressure on his osophegas from him pulling on lead. He has recommended I always use a harness from now on. As he was still quite poorly and sorry for himself decided to stay home with him today.
Thanks John . I was all set to rush into vets now hospital when neighbor came over. He was so out of sorts. My friend had a cairn with exact same conditions Neighbor says he's watched angus over years and he seems like " a wee dude whose a go getter with places to be" very apt description I think !!! He advised me to give him some anti histamines to ease the symptoms. He looked very surprised when I told him my own vet said anti hyst don't work on dogs!! As I said earlier he is a fully qualified vet and infact he works at vets hospital training vets so I think I ll follow his advice.
