poor alf had yet another operation this week!!! developed a horrible firm lump on the back of his neck. had an aspirate sent to the lab which wasnt conclusive. said possible reactive tissue but suspicious of tumour. obviously being the neurotic owner that i am, he had surgery on wednesday to remove it. He's now the proud owner of a fair sized scar (yet another to add to his collection!!!!) The lump extended down to the muscle of his neck and small bit of muscle had to be removed too! surprisingly, he's not fussed at all!
results came back from the lab today thankfully all ok, was something called calcinosis circumscripta, they're not really sure what causes it or why it happened but main thing is hes fine!
Ill be away next weekend so we will miss first week back
