Hi everyone!

I don't train at Cumbernauld but have got to know John and Eleanor at a dog training instructors course we're all attending in Alexandria.

I have a South African Boerboel, named Oscar. He's 3yrs 8mths old and a handsome chap! The Boerboel is a guardian breed, so is not for everyone - but I love him to bits.

My husband and I lived in South Africa for nearly 20 years and got to know the breed out there; so, when we returned to the UK at the end of 1999 I was very sad to leave my female BB and male GSD behind!

However, in 2003 I discovered a couple of BB breeders here in the UK, and the rest is history!

John's asked me to post a couple of pictures, but I think I'll email them to him and he can do it (until I work out what to do here on this board!).

Look forward to exchanging ideas on training and picking up loads of tips!

Kind regards
Lynn - and Oscar, of course x

Hi Deborah

You're right - definitely big:-)) Oscar weighs in at 55kg - and he's all muscle!

Are you able to give me your friends' names? The BB world is very small, especially in Scotland, and I wondered if I know them?

Kind regards
Lynn

Hi Lynn. Her name is Nicola??????????? can't remember her last name for the life of me.I worked alongside her and bump into her now and again when we are at courses etc.

She stays out Stepps/ Millerston area. I can phone her tomorrow and ask her surname Embarassed and the dog's names. Very Happy
